Moose with calf

I took a drive up the west side of Algonquin last friday. Took the day off and a beauty is was! Saw these two on Rain Lake Rd. I filmed them for 40mins as well. Also saw either a mink or an otter. It ran away too quick to get a good look. Went for a stroll down a loggers road and found black bear prints, wolf and moose prints. It was so quiet up there that I had a hum in my head. Silence is bliss

Nice pics.
That calf looks big to me, especially so early in the season.

One can get a feeling
for how you must have
felt being there

I appreciate the comments. Yes very serene up there, especially when you're alone. Very very quiet. The hum in my head was much louder than anything going on around me at the time. I plan on doing it again very soon.
