Bald Eagles in High Park?

A colleague of mine said he heard a report this morning on 680News about Bald Eagle chicks getting rescued after a nest blew down during the recent wind storm. Has anyone else heard about this? I'm thinking that it was probably the local Redtails, as I've never heard about an eagle's nest in High Park.

Hi, Re the report of Eagles nest blown out of tree... The Hyde Park referred to in the report is on the north west side of London Ont.

The two Eagle chicks were alive and rescued but both with broken legs. They were taken to Salthaven Rescue centre where they were x-rayed and treated.

There is an article in the London Free Fress to-day reporting that they are doing well but the odds are not great for success. We are all hpoing for the best.
