We had a loon family visit most of the day right where we were staying in Cape Breton.  There had been 2 young, but only 1 survived.  Hope you enjoy these!

excellent! i've never had the privilege of getting close to any loons...what beautiful creatures they are! and to think, there's one on our dollar coin and that's as close as i've come to seeing one!
