warbler species: nashville, black and white, yellow, common yellowthroat, tennessee, golden winged
It was only the second time I've ever seen a golden-winged warbler and it stayed in plain sight for over a minute, no more than 15 feet away. A beautiful male who was kind enough to let me see him from the front back and side. The black-billed cuckoo croaked and then styaed in plain sight on a small jack pine for 3-4 minutes. A great surprise!
Happy birding
