Is it possible that I confuse a raven call for that of a turkey vulture?

I have been hearing what I thought was a raven in my area (west grey -- not too far Neustadt where the pied crow had been hanging out) and today looking up at the bird that I thought was making the call, its possible that it was a turkey vulture -- I wasn't in a position to see the grey / black underside of the wing or the dihedral shape so can't say if it had it or not...but we have a lot of turkey vultures in our area and at any given moment there are usually at least a half dozen or so soaring around...I hope I'm right and they are ravens...I've been kinda excited about it....I know, I gotta get out more...that said, I saw a weird scissor tailed bird on my lawn today...just kidding.

Using the Cornell website sounds, they do not sound alike.  The TV has a screeching voice that goes for about 6 seconds, while the Raven has a Cr-r-ruck sound. Usually only Juvenile Turkey Vultures make sound but some adults might.
Ravens are less common, but certainly possible. They are beginning to be seen more often outside of their normal range, and I believe that there is at least 1 pair in Flamborough. I saw 2 Ravens fly over my backyard earlier this year. Maybe you can tell which one it is by these:

The only sounds I found were classified as either mating or aggressive hissing...this is a call made while flying -- now, I did notice the bird flapped its wings for most of the flight...and I rarely see the TV's do more than a flap or two after a substantial period of soaring.
