Does anyone know if they allow access to these lagoons? I was down that way this morning and tried stopping in but the gate was closed and it is posted " restricted access and no trespassing". There were no other birders around or anyone so I decided not to press my luck on moved on. I did see about 25 turkeys in two groups just down the road at the main intersection. They were all very close to the road in the fields but as soon as I slowed down in the car, they all began to run and made it to the bush line before I could get a good photo shot off.
