Last week, some officials from MNR met with a group of local farmers to outline a new solution to the coyote problem. They began the meeting by pointing out that the farmers had been hunting aggressively since winter began and there has not been a dip in the coyote population or in livestock losses -- the farmers had to agree with the MNR reps that hunting wasn't working. The MNR scientests unveiled their new solution -- the MNR would begin to live trap the coyotes and they'd castrate the males, and return them back to the population. This solution is preferred for it's effectiveness and humaness...and the farmers agreed....until one old boy in the back commented "Young man, I don't think you understand our problem...we said the coyotes were eating our livestock..not fucking them !"

I thought it was a cute joke...I apologize for the language...

I can't see how this could possibly work - one coyote they miss could easily impregnate all the nearby females.
