Hi everyone. I was walking at Maplewood Park this afternoon between 12:45-1:15pm ... no birds or squirrels anywhere. Very odd, especially as there didn't seem to be any hawks around. So, wandered down to Lake Aquitaine and walked around there until 2:15pm. Bumped into forum member "Twojugs" and his wife out birding. It was great seeing and talking with them.

Sighted the following:
Canada Geese - a few. Have been sighting hundreds flying by heading North lately.
Cardinals x 2 (1m, 1f)
Common Grackle x 1
Crows - lots
Gulls - lots
House Sparrows - lots
Juncos - lots
Mallards - lots
Mourning Doves - a few
Red-breasted Nuthatches x 3
Red-winged Blackbirds (male) x 8
Robins x 5
