Plenty of waterfowl today at both locations. Rondeau Bay was filled with them, the numbers below are just the fraction I was able to identify. New birds for the season were Ring-necked Duck, American Wigeon, Bonaparte's Gull and Killdeer (finally!), but the highlight by far was an American Woodcock crossing the road in front of the car while "dancing". It had some kind of bobbing motion while walking which looked quite hilarious. I have never seen one out in the open like that before, I heard and saw them displaying at dusk at Rondeau during the milder spell we had, but this was a real treat.
