Friday went by Cootes Paradise on the South shore trails to look for an American White Pelican that had been spotted there. Found the Pelican and also had some good ealy migrants there,
Saw 4 types of swallows (cliff,northern rough-winged,barn and tree) foy Spotted sandpiper, ruby-crowned and golden crowned kinglets, fox and white-throated sparrows,kingfishers, many species of ducks
and caspian terns for a few of the species seen. Also saw a baby Great Horned owl in its nest ,even when not looking for owls i seem to find them.
