It was a chilly morning, but the birds compensated discomforts.
The highlit was an european goldfinch acompanied by a flock of his north american relatives. Song sparrows were singing everywhere.
On the lake there were rednecked greebes quite close to the shore, pair of american coots, red breasted mergansers, and 12 ruddy ducks both sexes. Double crested cormorans are back sporting their crests.
