On Sunday April 24th 2011 during the afternoon near Attwater and Canterbury in Mississauga, I watched a what appeared to be an American Robin searching for worms. This bird was white with black markings on its back and wings with an orange breast, robin sized, hopped like a robin, and had a robin voice. I have never seen a robin like it, although others apparently have. I found it unusual, any information would be appreciated.

Could it have been an Eastern Towhee? I've seen a partially leucistic robin but never one like that, that sounds very neat if it was a robin!

Thanks for the information, I believe what I saw was indeed a " Leucistic Robin".  I took a few photographs of the bird, unfortunately I couldn't get very close. I have posted the photos on Flickr and here is the link . . . http://www.flickr.com/photos/62184298@N06/

Definitely a robin. Neat! Here's what the one I saw looked like, but yours looks much more patchy.
