Looking for Id of dragonfly

Can anyone tell me if this type of dragonfly has a specific name, which I am sure it does? (Sorry I have not figured out how to attached pictures directly to this email instead of having to redirect you to another site.)

Green darner, probably the most common dragonfly around.

Thanks, I haven't shot insects for a while and didn't remember the colours being is vivid, I will have to look for more

yes, this is a common green darner,  somewhat early but some people have been seeing them as of late. The only other similar species would be a comet darner but, that would be a very rare and lucky find. You'll see lots of these common greens up until Late October.
