One of my last pictures before my tripod and camera slowly tipped over into a pond :(

Moira, another great shot..
But holy crap are you kidding me, you dunked your gear??
How awefull!
I know exactly how you feel, I lost all my gear as well in the winter time. But mine involved me going into the frozen creek with it.
You might luck out and find it can be repaired.
Best of luck with that.
It's really crappy to hear that.  :(

Thanks Meghan and Walter.  The camera survived (yeah!) and the lens is at Sun Camera now.  The damage is relatively minor in the world of camera money :(  I have a loaner from a nice friend and am back out there.  I think I will have the camera around my neck from now on, even though it's on a tripod!!

Hey Moira, nice shot.
Glad to hear the lens damage is relatively minor. Get yourself a good lawyer and sue the frog!

Thanks guys - I wish it was me that went in the pond - a quick shower and a load of laundry and it would have been done :)  Should have the lens back in a couple of days.
