your not the only one, I know how to post a link to where they can see the picture but I haven't figured out how to have the picture appear without going to another web site. There was some old instructions but they didn't work for me

You need to join an image hosting website such as Photobucket or Flickr and upload your photos there.
Then you post a link to your photo on this site.

In the first link Zed posted,Andreas explains how you can use the website
www.imageshack.com
to post photos on this forum .It does not require you to register.If I follow the instructions it has always works for me:
