There's nothing like waking up to the sounds of birds singing. This morning I was happy to see a male and female baltimore oriole couple, a male rose-breasted grosbeak, what I think was a female yellow warbler, and 2 hermit thrushes in my yard (Scarborough Bluffs area). And in the last couple of weeks, many white-throated sparrows have been visiting my feeders. On Friday morning, a couple of yellow rumped warblers made an appearance. And we can't forget all of the other usual suspects.
Spring has sprung! It makes me late for work in the morning because I get distracted looking out the windows!
