Cools shots John.

Have heard people do not quite like this bird. Something about poo and trees. Why is that?

I don't know either.  Probably they gather in a large group, damaging the trees.

I think I heard once that their poo is very acidic and will kill leaves on trees and grasses on the ground. I may be wrong but I thought I would add this info. Nice shots too BTW!!!

You are quite correct anotherlook. If you've ever been to the Leslie Street Spit to see them you would witness the destruction (bare tree patches galore). In fact this is being debated in city council now trying to find solutions tothe problem. One suggestion was to reduce the Cormorant population (if you know what I mean). Bird advocates are also chiming in. Stay tuned...
