Well,this seems to be the site on which people are posting their sightings of Coopers hawk nesting.
There is a pair in the Lithuania Park ravine, 2 blocks north of High Park.
While it's not unusual to spot Coopers here, this is the first time I've seen them nesting.
They may have moved north now that 1844 Bloor & other properties on the block across from High Park are being disturbed prior to redevelopment.
I expect it will be a quiet year for birds here. Mostly alarm calls from the robins, some "songs" from the blue jays, & one suicidal cardinal.
