Cool day today and no sunny breaks they promised...but a few of the interesting birds showed up anyway!

Yellow-rumped warbler

Brown Thrasher

Hermit thrush

Pied-billed grebe

Resident Pileated's

Let's hope the sun tomorrow brings out the rest of the new arrivals

Nice ones, I was there some days ago. I had better luck with the sun, but you had better luck with the birds! I would have liked to see the Pileated.

Nice finds Dave!!
The Pileated's are being a bit elusive as of late. Instead of posing for the camera they instead are preferring to find a suitable nest cavity and start raising some young.
Go figure eh?
So great job getting a photograph of both of them.
Nice collection indeed.

A birth certificate shows we were born.  A death certificate shows we died.  Pictures show we live.

Thanks to everyone........I was concentrating so much on the first one pecking at the tree, I didn't even notice its mate until they were side by side....unfortunately I couldn't get them to look at each for a shot
