Lots of action at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery today between 10 and 11 am. Since the Cerulean seems to be awol, thought I'd start a new post. A Great Crested Flycatcher and two Blackburnian Warblers were the highlight for me today. All the birds on my list today were found in sections 25 and 24, just east of the visitation centre (the large building south of the office) and close to Moore Ave. I liked this area because the trees are not so tall, and many of the warblers were coming down low for great views. Here's my list:
Great Crested Flycatcher
Blue-headed Vireo
Blackburnian Warbler (2)
Black-throated Blue Warbler (3)
Magnolia Warbler
Chestnut Sided Warbler
Black-and-white Warbler (5)
Palm Warbler
Yellow-rumped Warbler (10+)
White-crowned Sparrow (6)
White-throated Sparrow (8+)
Ruby Kinglet
