Anyone around Humber Bay Park East please walk down the pontoon bridge and have a look at this nest. Not so much for the birds but to keep the fishermen away. I have had to remind them not to cast near the nest more than once now.

Nice shots, I saw it there on Wednesday too, right in the middle of the water. wonder if this one will lay eggs, the grebes at Sam Smith were rebuilding AGAIN :(

That looks like 4 or maybe even 5 eggs!  She never budged when I was there today so I couldn't see.  

There are currently 3 active nests at Sam Smith Park, but I'm not holding out much hope.

Visited the nest yesterday. Although the adults were still hanging around, no eggs and no chicks are present. Sadly, this is another failed nest for this species.
