Fred Bodsworth, naturalist, journalist and author of Last Of The Curlews, passed away at Scarborough General Hospital yesterday. Fred was a month shy of his 94th birthday. Last Of The Curlews, written in 1955, is still in print, and still relevant.
He'll be missed.
