Does the bird look like it's in trouble?  I guess we can alert Toronto Wildlife Centre if it looks injured.  There must be rodents downtown for it to catch, at the very least squirrels.  I'm just afraid it might be hit by a car.

Crazy location to see on for sure. My most weird sighting was a Snowy Owl perched on the chimmey one night a few years ago.

I would think it's fine. My girlfriend works on Wellington and spotted a barred owl sleeping in a tree back in early December.  It's probably the same one:
