I was lucky today as these were all taken in a 2 hour period.  The Great Horned and Saw-whet were taken at Thickson Woods while the Barred was taken on Halls Road.

Those shots are amazing. I was there on Saturday and couldn't find any. Maybe next time.

Very nice pictures, I saw those two at Thickson's Woods today too, thanks to a couple of nice gentlemen pointing them out. Otherwise I probably would have missed them. Both the Great Horned (long time coming) and Northern Saw-whet Owls were lifers for me, so it was a great day.

Thanks.  The Saw-whet was a lifer for me too.

Great shots hoodlum! What good luck you're having... You must be carrying a horse shoe in you backpack. ;)  Congrats
Also, thanks for sharing the locations, very appreciated.

I saw the Barred Owl at Hall's Road yesterday as well (twice!). The Owl was still perched on the same branch when I went back several hours later (brought my kids b/c they wanted to walk the pathway and feed the songbirds). They also saw a bunny down the path!

Then we went up to Thickson's Woods, and we also saw the little Saw-Whet (which I've been actively looking for all winter!). We were fortunate to have had some help from two birders who were there watching him, otherwise, there is no way we'd have noticed him! Initially I was staring right at him, and did not *see* him until he opened his eyes! Your photos look great! I took a few of the saw-whet as well -- just a magnificent creature! :D

Fantastic set, love the Saw-whet, I haven't come across one in my travels yet, still looking.
