I was driving the 54 Lawrence East bus and when I got relieved (shifted off) I caught the Warden bus down to Comstock where the bus yard is.  While walking along the sidewalk to get back to the yard a car pulled over.  Not generally a strange thing as we drivers pick each other up all the time, however it wasn't a driver who stopped for me, just a member of the public who was being nice to a freezing cold bus driver walking through a wind tunnel.  I have never met this person before and I will probably never see her again, but I must have thanked her about 15 times in the 3 minutes I was in her car lol.

So this afternoon I plan on finding a random person and paying it forward.... of course I will probably get arrested for solicitation....but hey it'll be worth the Karma in the bank.

She might have been paying a debt from society that she alone doesn't owe, in response to today's article in the Star about the front-line hardships TTC drivers are subjected to.  She deserves applause for the idea we should all emulate. As for paying it forward I think you probably have done and continue to do in your work every day! Thanks! Also thanks for your birding posts too. Chalk that under pay-it-forward.Cheers.

Good spotting! Never leave your bins at home.
