Hurray for chimney swifts! This is only the second report I've seen in Toronto. (First was TTP on Sunday.) What time did you see them? Did they seem to be heading in a particular direction?

Have you seen a roost? Please email me at rebecca.torontoswifts@gmail.com but don\'t post the location! This species is threatened and relies on urban habitat.

About 11 am Monday, I believe. Credit Kris Ito for spotting them. They seemed to be feeding. I didn't detect a pattern of movement as they appeared and disappeared a couple of times. It wasn't a clear direct line of flight anyway.
