For the 3rd time in four years, we've had a Short-eared Owl fly over Rosetta McClain Gardens during our fall Hawk Watch. Today's sighting was a huge surprise as there sure weren't many raptors flying. The bird was observed at 12:06 PM flying westward and following the shoreline.
