This last Friday, on our way to a cottage I visited Schomberg lagoons in the northern Toronto area and saw a few shorebirds. There were many Killdeer and Spotted sandpipers along the shore and only one Least Sandpiper. I also saw two Trumpeter swans in the lagoons and a few wood ducks.
