Ashbridges Bay - Oct 2

If you want warblers and hate fire ants, Ashbridges bay is looking really good.
spent around 30 min birding the southwest peninsula. lots of yrw, a good amount of black-throated blue, some ruby-crowned kinglets and a few yellow-bellied warblers that i couldn't ID.
there also were some yrw near the parking lot and a few yrw and ruby crowned kinglets on the southeast side near the beack boardwalk.
heard a kingfisher, didn't see it.
warblers are about 6-15 ft from the ground in all sorts of trees. look for gnats and you'll find the warblers.

add Northern Parula today, and male Wilson's two days ago. Still lots of Yellow-rumped, a Palm with them, many White-throated Sparrows - some singing
and various Thrush - Swainson's, Hermit and a possible Grey-cheeked. No biting ants, but they are everywhere off road out the Spit.
Not a single Monarch today at ABB, sadly, but there were 7 fresh ones on Tuesday. Kinglets everywhere! Spectacular weather!

i was guess that the few orange-bellied warblers i saw were parulas, but they were moving too fast to confirm the ID.
