There was at least one, and possibly as many as three, Carolina Wren's at the Rattray today. The first one (or two) were near the creek, close to the footbridge just before the path for "the knoll." The other was closer to Jack Darling in some scrub. That possible third one was by call only. The bird/s were calling frequently.
The bird/s were on the move and weren't staying long anywhere. I have a few photos.

If you go, keep an eye out along the banks for muskrat. There were 2 very cute young ones today, tussling over their food. totally oblivious of the dogs on the boardwalk about 25 feet away. (The dogs also seemed oblivious.)

Other birds included many GC Kinglets, a flycatcher (probably Phoebe), several Brown Creepers, WB nuthatches, various Hairys and Downys, chickadees, blue jays, gulls, Canada Geese, mallards, hermit thrush, etc. Other mammals included a lazy cottontail juvenile, also only 15 feet from oblivious dogs.

Rattray marsh seems like an ideal spot for Carolina Wrens.  I was there just this past weekend and was surprised to see this bird on a wooden plank calling loudly, near the first area you pointed out.
