On my way to ABB this morning to see if anything new had arrived - Brown Creepers, and the Ring-necked Ducks are still swimming below the docks - I decided to stop on Unwin at the bridge and also a bit further along to watch the Ravens. While standing at the bridge an Osprey flew around in long circles being harassed by gulls. It stayed for about 10 minutes and then headed out of sight. Moments later a Merlin flew in and checked out the shore at speed. It didn't stay long at all before it headed West. Along came a Coopers Hawk flying past the buildings on the N side and straight East past the Wet Woods corner.  The Ravens were flying in and out of the nest site, dropping at times to different parts of the rooftops below. Then down - one into the rubble pile and one deep into the Wet Woods. A Great Blue Heron was on the ice in the little bay looking somewhat bewildered at the conditions no doubt. Mockingbird singing loudly as were the RWBBs.
