The weather was perfect, the sun was out. I called up a friend; we first made it out to Bronte Harbour to see if we could catch a glimpse of the King Eider.  To our surprise, the pair of Eiders were not shy and gave great views. I finally got a great look at a Horned Grebe. Red necked Grebes were out in numbers, and Tree and Barn swallows swarming.  We next hit C. Sam Park. More R. Necked Grebes, White-winged Scoters, Gadwalls, Mergansers, and a flock of playful Buffleheads. The Lake was crowded with waterfowl. Lastly, I finished the day with a hike in the Rouge.  With Turkey Vultures soaring, and Cedar Waxwings buzzing, the highlight was a gorgeous Eastern Bluebird basking in the sun. Quite a day birding.

Nice series of shots Gary. It was indeed a great day for birding. I went to TTP in the morning and Downsview in the afternoon. At TTP apart from the gulls, there were more humans than birds. I did manage to see a pair of Eastern Phoebe. Another birder told me that she had seen a Meadowlark.
