Juvenile Blue Jay? Hybrid?

Is this a Juvenile Blue Jay or Hybrid? I found it in my friends backyard in Ridgeway, Ontario, near Fort Erie, Ontario.

Looks like its lost some feathers, could be a molt. Or like you said a juv with feathers no grown in yet in that area.
