Today

4 pm my wife said to me we have a visitor in the fire place.

Little paw prints on the glass.  I open the fireplace door and the back door. nuthing..

I ended up scaring it back up the stove pipe and it exited thu the clean out on the outside.   So while I was waiting for our friend to make an exit I spotted this

guy on my tree and snapped a shot.. this is the first one of the year :))

Napper thanx in advance  :D

I've seen a butterfly like the one you've posted whilst walking in High Park, today.

Really did a double-take when I saw it ! :D

Beautiful mourning cloak.  They are almost always the first to arrive since they over-winter as adults.
