Hello, I'm a total newcomer here and joined because I am working on a research project to do with the late William W.H. Gunn. I am guessing there could be a lot of people connected with this forum who might have known him, personally or by reputation, as a prominent bird expert and field recordist.
I am hoping to acquire copies of all the vinyl LPs of environmental recordings which Gunn helped produce and release through Federation of Ontario Naturalists in the 1950s/1960s. I have some of them already but not necessarily in good condition. If you have any copies in excellent condition which you would be willing to let go, I would be interested in buying them. (I am hoping I might even dig up unplayed, sealed new-old-stock copies)
Here is a PDF of a brochure from the mid-1960s advertising the LP series. The list of records is on the left panel of page 2.

And, if you have a connection with Gunn, I would be interested to make contact and perhaps ask you some questions about his life and work. You could message me privately or send an email to rogalsky[at]queensu.ca.
Thanks very much!
