Hey everyone!  How's it going?  I haven't been on here in a while.

For those who enjoy the Pierre posts, I thought I would share that he is still around.  July 21st marks his third anniversary.  So many visits and fun times with this bird along with some stressful moments when he's disappeared after a Coopers or Red-tailed Hawk attack on the backyard birds.

You can view his little temper tantrums he has, as he doesn't like to share except with his lady friend.  He's a real character.  https://youtu.be/ZQnBs_I9a1Y

A birth certificate shows we were born.  A death certificate shows we died.  Pictures show we live.

But can he hover in one spot or fly backwards or....ok, I guess the burning question is why would he want to! :) Anyway, he's really cool and VERY smart to hang out with Rob and Angie who may be the world's greatest hosts! AND he's a lot smarter than a male hummingbird that's been visiting my feeder for the past week! :) I was sitting close to the feeder a few days ago when this male came by and circled twice, trying every flower, before leaving without appearing to feed. It happened again today and this time I saw why he didn't stay at one flower; rather than stick his beak into the centre of the bee guard he was poking around the outer rim where the nectar pickins' are slim to none! His colours say he's a mature male - I guess he was a senior having one of his moments!

Btw Rob, any news from Belle?
