Ashbridges Bay Park continues to produce some great birds this week. After last week's male Golden-winged Warbler, today I found a female. Having no experience with these birds, I thought initially that it was some type of hybrid - oops! Sorry Dave! And anyone else I may have misled. The bird was foraging mid-canopy along the scrubby edge of the driveway before you reach the last parking lot. It's that little corner beside the small sailing club and the tiny bay. I also tried and failed to relocate a Yellow-throated Vireo that had been sighted on and off all day. Apparently it was sometimes in the willows beside the marina and sometimes closer to the parking lot. I did however manage to find my FOY Red-eyed and Philadelphia Vireos. Hopefully with tonight's unsettled weather these birds will stick around for another day.
