Beautiful weather for this time of October but far less bird activity than even a few days ago.
Numbers of RC Kinglet is way down.
Certainly no higher numbers of GC Kinglets, if even as many. First bird I see is usually a GC Kinglet
or a WT sparrow. There are fewer WT sparrow and the groups of sparrows are now down to 1 - 3 birds
at any given spot. One WC sparrow again (male) looking very healthy. Other sightings:
Cardinal (male) x 2
Catbird x 1
Brown Creeper x 1
Hermit Thrush x 2
Junco (present in loose groups of 4 - 6 birds) often with chickadee.
Eastern Phoebe and Winter Wren none were observed on this occasion.
Water fowl only Mallards, Gadwall and Canada geese.

Golden-crowned Kinglet at about 9 a.m. (High ISO)
