You're fortunate to get some visitors since I've have seen no action at all this December.
I mounted two feeders (niger and millet) and neither has had avian visitors. Squirrels
would jump from a nearby structure and land on the millet feeder, thus tipping it enough
to spill seed on the ground. That trick did eventually attract a few junco, but that is about
the extent of it. I really must install a suet feeder and see what happens. I suspect nothing
will happen. Thanks for posting.
