Hello.
Can yo please identify these two birds for us?
The bird hidden in the foliage was singing quite an intricate song.

Our first yellow-throated vireo, and we had only seen one thrasher before and didn't know it sang like that. We thought it was a mockingbird until we took a closer look at the photos. Thank you for your help! Happy ethical birding :)

The bill of your yellow-green bird does not strike me as a vireo,
nor does the detail around the eye. Looks more like a male Pine
warbler.

It would be our first one of those, too! It's funny that it's the same lovely individual, regardless. We can't tell which one it is. Needless to say, we're not the best at identifying our feathered friends :)

Here's three shots of Pine warbler from Ashbridges.
Once you have photographed a species you will likely
be able to identify it from then on.
