I was up opening my cottage at Eels Lake (sw of Bancroft and directly west of Silent Lake Provincial Park). The Warblers were everywhere and they were Vocal throughout the day. It felt like every Eastern Hemlock tree had a male Black-throated Green Warbler singing from it.

Highlights: 36 species

Warblers 10 Species: 32+ Black-throated Greens, 33+ Yellow-rumped Warblers, 1 Northern Parula, 1 Blackburnian, 1 Black-throated Blue, 4 Nashvilles, 2 Pine, 2 Black and White, 2 Palm, and 2 Northern Waterthrush

Other Species of Interest:
1 Common Loon Wailing away throughout the day. Hearing it, made having to wade into the ice water a little warmer.
5 Purple Finch
2 Pileated Woodpeckers they always become so visible and carefree/oblivious to everything else  this time of year up there.
Broad-winged Hawk
nesting Great Blue Herons, Osprey and Red-tailed Hawk
and 1 of our newly establishing forest species: Wild Turkey.
