I visited Rattray Marsh this morning (Mon. May 19) and was quite surprised to see this Turkey Vulture sitting on the gravel bar on the lake side of the marsh. Although I had seen them fly overhead I had actually never seen on the ground at Rattray. The grayish head indicated that this was a juvenile.
