In our downtown backyard, we had a hermit thrush and a white throated sparrow, in addition to our usual assortment of redwings, cardinals, juncos, house finches, etc.  We also had an eastern cottontail, which is the first one we've seen in our small backyard in years.

I'm guessing between domestic cats, foxes and coyotes, the bunnies take a beating. It's hard not to feel happy when you see a bunny.

We're in a bit of a population upswing where I am (West Grey) I think b/c the fox population was decimated by Parvo in the last couple of years.

Our Junco's seemed have to departed late last week. We have had a Brown Headed Cowbird at our feeder over the last few days.
I'll share more in my bi-weekly update.

I responded to this thread properly and corrected my comments but it some how it got lost by a bad Click of a mouse. I even welcomed back an old member by name.
Am I losing it?
