The strong wind almost stopped me from going for the walk. Spotty is cute.

I almost missed the Green Heron. I have normal photos, but these are much funnier.

This is a Bank Swallow, right?

I'm glad that you decided to go out while fully equipped. I'm surprised as well that you somehow managed to get that close to a Green-backed heron without a cloaking device. You must have spy skills. I believe that the swallow you captured in flight is actually a Rough-winged swallow, despite the tight bank to port. So, in a way, it is a 'bank-swallow', or more accurately a banking swallow. It seems to me that you could venture forth on the Humber River Trail and almost always come back with something interesting. The nearby Rouge here is never so consistently photo-worthy. I didn't go out today.

I was surprised by the Green Heron too, because I spent several minutes taking photos of the sandpiper without knowing it's existence. Could easily spooked him. Then it started to walk. So funny
