I wanted to share a variety of the birds I have seen this spring.  I hope everyone was able to get out and enjoy the migration.

Bohemian Waxwing

Ovenbird

Northern Waterthrush

Summer Tanager

It's encouraging to hear from you again in your dazzling post. Nice variety of uncommon bird photographs, but you didn't annotate them with a story, where and when, which is likely on everyone's mind upon seeing them. Perhaps you somewhat underestimated the enthusiasm these images create. I'm also quite impressed by the shadow detail that your smaller sensor is able to capture. Some shots must have been taken very early because the light is so wonderfully uniform. Overall, it's just good to know that you are still a supporting pillar of this ancient forum ... not to suggest that you are a relic. Indeed, far from it ... more like venerable. Is your son still engaged in the noble pursuit? I mean 'birds', not girls.

Great pictures, particularly the capture of the fruit in mid-toss with the waxwing.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments. Most of these were taken at Point Pelee except for the waxwing in Guelph and the Blackpoll Warbler at Colonel Sam Smith Park. I actually went to Colonel Sam Smith Park last weekend looking for the Connecticut Warbler but I was happy to fine this Blackpoll instead.

Awesome set as usual Steve. I didn't do much of any Spring birding this year; a few here and a few there is all that I did; however managed to get a few rarities. I'll post them later. I went to Guelph to see the Bohemians - no luck though. I also spent close to three hours in Colonel Sam in search of the Connecticut - no luck either.
