The cottontails must be having a banner year. We saw another in our small downtown backyard a few days ago, which makes 3 for this year. That's compared with 1 in the past 20 years. A couple of nights ago, a bat was flitting around above the backyard. And this morning, a skunk was hanging out amongst the squirrels.
