I just switched to flickr to host my photos with the results you see in the previous post.

I used to use fotopic.  When I clicked properties on the photo I wanted to post, the url looked like this...

http://images5.fotopic.net/?iid=yohxtw& ... quality=70

It, too, didn't work.  i.e. Couldn't post a photo.

I'm sure there is something simple I'm missing, but I don't know what it is... any suggestions.

Thanks,
Joe

Hi Joe, I have been using fotopic for several years for my website. They intoduced direct linking a couple of years ago, I wasnt sure how to use it until recently. You have to be logged in to your page, you pick a collection to edit, then click on the image you want to post. At the top you will see the info tab, click on this and you will see the direct link. When you copy and past it into a forum page, click img, paste and click img again, this will give you a smaller image with your watermarks, if you have them.
To get the original image, you have to type "original" into the link after the word "net/". Here is an example of both with the text at the top of the shot. I hope this helps:)

Thanks, Art.  It was the Disable BBCode box that was the problem.  Andy pointed that out to me.  Thanks for the tips with Flickr.
