Hi all,
a walk from Ward's Island to Hanlan's point this morning produced some good birds although it was slow overall. Good numbers of birds but few diversity.
Among the most notable species seen were:
1 beautiful male Black-throated Blue Warbler, 1 Black-throated green Warbler, 4 Pine Warblers, 5 Palm Wablers, 2 Black and White Warblers, 1 Nashville Warbler, > 60 Yellow-rumped W
1 Savannah, 1 Field, 4 White-crowned, 1 Swamp, 6 Song, 7 Chipping and > 150 White-throated Sparrows
1 Golden-crowned and > 80 Ruby-crowned Kinglets
4 Blue-headed Vireos, 3 Warbling Vireos, 5 Blue-gray Gnatcatchers
2 Swainson's Thrush, 2 Hermit Thrush and 1 Veery
1 Eastern Towhee, 7 Brown Thrashers
1 Eastern Phoebe
1 Belted Kingfisher
1 Red-breasted Nuthatch and 1 Brown Creeper
2 Winter Wren
1 Eastern Meadowlark
1 Dark-eyed Junco
1 male Canvasback
