Birded goods parts of the weekend, both Sat & Sun. Col.Sam, High Pk.,Hall's Rd.,Thickson to Peterborough. The only thing I have to add to the various other postings that no one else mentioned was a Winter Wren at Thickson Woods (not unusual) and a treat of a Fox Sparrow. Ticked the list for the species on everyones elses lists. Great to be out yesterday.
Otonabe R.(sp?) in Peterb. is high and fast but ice free. Woods still hold crusts of snow and ice though. The river netted a few Hooded Mergs and C. Goldeneyes. Inland was like here; GCKinglets, Phoebe, Juncoes, RWBB & Grackles. Driving saw MANY T.Vultures and Red Tails. Those are the highlights.
