Bit of a novice with warblers...can anyone help with this one? Saw it in the local ravine in Brampton.

I would go with Pine Warbler because of the wing bars and the yellow throat and breast and whiter belly and undertail coverts.

Thanks for the suggestion - it was one of the possibles I considered. It was an interesting afternoon - I also got the sightings of a Myrtle Warbler and some Ruby-crowned Kinglets. Just to finish off, a Brown-headed Cowbird appeared on my lawn, and a Common Flicker landed in a neighbor's tree.

Brampton (I live around Dixie/William's Parkway) is not usually so interesting for a birder!
